Okay can someone confirm the mc’s interactions with that one dude who always smokes. Cause it’s implied they have sex (clearly not very consensual) since he woke up shirtless in the same bad and the mc wore something that covered his neck. But this story is implying that this happened many times in the past. Clearly the guy got violent with someone the mc got close with in the past (shown in that panel of him holding a broken bottle with blood on it). But based on how much the mc was shaking and how he was able to list the pattern of ‘mysterious eyes, bouts of anger, kindness’ not only does the guy have a track record of hurting people close to the mc but also assaulting him. Not only does it make me hate him more, but also makes me hate the other guy with the freckles because he’s somewhat aware of this and he’s complicit. And then we got the puppy dude who’s best boy and sweet for the mc.
thats my take on this too!! seems like mc is in a shitty abusive relo with the other guy where he is coercively controlling the mc (ie, hurting people mc is close to or, it looks like, people who have shown a romantic interest to the mc)
