Im bothered by her attitude too, but i do understand why she is doing that. She is is both scared and guilty for becoming the grand duchess. She doesnt want to get emotionally hurt because she thinks cedric and the blond chick will fall in live again. Additionally, she actually respects her so that adds guilt into that factor.
