I'm someone who is able to read a story and not be triggered by SA but many aren't and rely on reviews and tags to make sure there is none. I checked my tags, there isn't a clearly visible tag or any warning on the chapters for SA, because it's not seen as such. It's okay for you to be tired of seeing the argument but perhaps there's a reason people keep saying it. I don't talk about my opinion to bring others down, I do it to let people who are triggered by SA topics that they are present when no one else is doing so.

The original comment you replied to isn't even right in half of what they said, and I really want you to use your comprehension skills here. Yaoi is gay romance, quite literally. It's not a culture, it's a genre of reading and there can be portions good and bad, just like any other genre. Shounen ai can have themes of SA as well, no genre is safe from that but many of us who read yaoi make this argument over and over...and over again, because the reason that yaoi and BL have these themes is because of a lack of well written gay romance and understanding of how those relationships can be developed. Forced sex storylines are rampant and wanting to see change about that is something many readers ask for and yearn to see so we have to be vocal about it. Having a differing opinion doesn't mean you should just sit on the sidelines and be okay with something that bothers you. So, I'll keep being vocal about that opinion and if that makes people feel "called out" so be it, I'm not making that comment for them. ¯_(:/)_/¯

Lol you don’t even understand what I’m mean. Let me clear it for you. I’m saying majority shounen ai plot are fluffy, while majority yaoi plot are not fluffy with mostly contain SA and such. I never said all shounen ai not contains any SA and such? I just giving a suggestion to all those people who get triggered need to just read shounen ai since it’s mostly more safe and don’t read Yaoi if the story contain lack of information. But I just want to let you know, you as a guy man need to understand that Yaoi create by women to women. That yaoi logic card and yaoi created by women for women is all things you made up, there are gay men who can even wrote them and there are women who can observe the painful reality of being a gay men. Yaoi is a form of art and should not be generalize or perceive as medium to mostly show sexual gratifications, some of them even gives good real life lesson.

But, as long as there is a romance tag in the genre and it involves two men or other genders. You are already bound to expect seeing romantic feelings or as you want - romantic logic.

Now, pointing out manipulation in romance involving two gay men shouldn't be dealt and justified using yaoi logic just because it is created by a women who dont know what is manipulation nor romance.

Im not literally saying romance tag in the cover page but in the genre itself or story, since they become lovey dovey couple.
