old guy has been suggested as being romantically/sexually attracted to mc many times throughout the story even seeing mr rapist as his rival. If seeing him with lines while the mc still has his baby fat in the flashback doesnt tell u how much of a creep that makes him then idk what to say. he may not be a groomer now but the story is definitely leading him to become one at some point although i would argue he really is already one by the way he takes advantage of mc but because its presented as funny everyone just seems to dismiss it

Grooming involves being romantically attracted to a minor in the first place, which he wasn’t attracted to MC when he was a freaking kid bro

grooming is not always done for sexual means. plz educate yourself. anyone of any age can be groomed for financial,sexual,emotional reasons. And someone who waits for said child to become an adult so they can be with them is a creep. trying to justify doesnt make him any less of a groomer. Mc relies on him financially.literally to survive. no relantionship with a power dynamic is a healthy one. any less one with an age gap that disgustingly big.
