Alright so I just checked spoilers and...oh boy. I'm skipping these next chapters lmfao.

So I read that Cole tries to rape Issac and make him take his fathers place. Apparently, he forced his father and marked him, then killed him. So now he doesn't care if Isaac is his son, he only sees his father. Unfortunately, Cole comes close to marking him but Issac stabs Cole with a fork and they both aren't doing too well. Felix comes just in time with back up but because Issac is fighting the mark, it's already starting to take over him. So the only solution is to make a stronger one to override it. So Felix marks him and it's enough to stop Cole's mark. They save Benjamin, Issac does some graphic, violent shit to Cole (bitch ass deserves it, disgusting pig) and they get married in the end. It's a sweet, happy story. But if anyone wants to avoid these next couple of chapters bc idk how true they'll play to the novel, then might wanna do so.
But wait! It's not over yet! There's another season! The novel has a part two. Felix's grandfather finds out he got married to an "ordinary guy" and isn't happy about it, he doubts Benjamin is really his kid. He becomes the next villain in the next volume.

I seriously doubt it will play true to cannon...
They left out info on Felix's trauma so all the readers think he is a dumb blond when he really isn't.
They left out how ruthless Felix is too which makes him look less cool imho. They left out the challenges Felix experiences bc he is 'the most dominant alpha of his generation'.
They left out some cool fight scenes. Isaac is the biggest badass since Shaft. He was supposed to have been shot multiple times, while still recovering from broken ribs and bruises when he was captured by Cole earlier. Yet he still ran full speed after the van when they took his mom and benjamin.

I definitely think they glossed over a lot of details. I know the novel was a lot more graphic and the story feels very rushed over at this point considering we never really delved into Felix as a person.
But ah, such is the way when novels get turned into a manhwa. I'm actually glad they're glossing over some details, although I'd have preferred it if we got a second season that was just them being happy lmao.
While the art is nice, this author just has a bad habit of writing toxic male leads and it's so disappointing. I think I hate the ML of this one more than Inseo from Stranger Than Friends. Like wtf bro, you need help.
Just curious but what’s wrong with inseo?? Sorry it’s kinda been a while since I’ve read it I don’t remember much lol
SPOILER!

He's not inherently bad, both the top and bottom are idiots tbh and I blame the bad characterization on the author but I just dislike the fact that he doesn't know what boundaries are (in one scene the bottom was sleeping and all he wants to do is fuck him non stop and I believe he even gives him a blow job while he's sleeping as he wakes up or something, it's just disgusting behavior). I know the bottom gave him consent but in a way Inseo KNOWS the bottom won't tell him no because he's probably so used to getting what he wants. The way this author writes her bottoms it's like they have absolutely no spine. Even the bottom in this manga, he's blinded by his "love" and I feel sorry for him because it's obvious he was manipulated by the top who's an obvious POS. Inseo on the other hand, is just an idiot that I hope gets his head out of ass soon but he doesn't seem to know just how deeply the bottom is hurting from not having a real family. His whole attitude just speaks of someone who is privileged, you can see it in his mannerisms and the way he brushes off the bottoms worries and immediately makes it about sex, sex, sex. It's the same with this story lmfao but ofc what the heck was I expecting. I shouldn't known not to expect much.
Also whoops I wrote a lot and got off topic a bit. Sorry anyone reading, I know it's a mixed reply about two diff mangas but...yeah...>>
