Sorry, I just couldn't get past the traditional haircuts enough to truly enjoy this. For some reason I also find those funky split toe socks a big turn off.
If you don't like bara this might not be for you, but if you do...this was flippin awesome.

Stumbled on this randomly, but totally loved it. Wish there was a lot more by this author, all the one shots are gems.
At first I wasn't going to read this because the description sounded kind of cheesy, but now I'm totally hooked.

Also searched for Back Stage so I could read it the second I finished this one.
Really good, but I'm still a little confused about some of the storyline. Maybe it's just me, but parts of the secondary story were hard to follow. Still, a sweet read overall.
This is definitely super trippy, but it's also interesting. If you are an adult who can handle intense stories I actually think it's worth a read. Just don't expect a lot of happy endings.
The only thing that would make it better would be if it were longer and more explicit.

I've tried to get into this story several times, but I always lose interest. The problem is reading it is like reading something I've already read five times before. It's so much like every other period drama I've ever read or seen I find it boring.
Anyone else notice the same thing?
haha, i'm a sucker for period dramas and period mangas (eastern or western based) so i didn't notice. i rather enjoy the political aspect of the story.
I wonder what others period manga you've read?? I didn't find many like this in BL/Yaoi world so far.....
well I follow this manga for years, I forgot how many years, the storyline not as shallow as some most other period yaoi mangas, the two main characters depth and development also the dialogue line will draw you into their circle so you'll grow to love the main characters and their life line, I sort of grow with this manga so I say this one is one of my baby. ^^.
