That Deja vu comment was me.
I can't believe we are going through the same shit again.
This makes me remember a comment I read recently "Women learn how to become a parent. Men like the idea of being a parent but they don't actually put an effort"
That is not absolute and it changes gradually but it does happen more often than not
I will never understand people who hate Soo-won.
He is an awesome character and an even greater king. Let me remind you that King Il was not the great king you think he was. Soo-won did us all a favour when he killed him + Yona wouldn't be as amazing as she is today if her father was alive so... yea... Stay mad or whatever but don't think that we are the weird ones for liking Soo-won
Great minds think alike. We will never understand such people. Soo-Won’s revenge literally gave birth to a badass female we wanted. From the backstory to now with all the characters connecting, liking Soo Won would make sense.
Soowoon is such a great character, truly he is my favorite. Soowoon >>>
In order for yona to be great she had to witness her father being murdered by her cousin.
While Il was a bad king, he had no choice either. He wasn't trained for ruling and had firmly believed that his brother would rule. Until his brother aka soo wons dad went crazy and killed yonas mom. And soo won was essentially brainwashed by his followers saying that king il killed his brother for the theone??
That guy was planning to start war after war. And abolish the established religion by murdering everyone that worshipped..
King Il may have been a bad king but he's not a tyrant atleast.
While I don't hate Soo won, his actions weren't really for the greater good..but for his own selfish motives. He should atleast be held accountable for his deeds..but nope.
Everyone has to swallow their words and walk on tip toes with him and yona.
You guys really don't know much about history, do you? The people who you celebrate as heroes have killed people and done terrible things, we just ignore them.
You say that he did it for selfish reasons but it wasn't only for that. He clearly said that he wouldn't kill him if he was competent enough (even if that was not easy). And besides acting on a selfish way is not as uncommon and bad as you may think. You just don't like/agree with what he did and you blame him for it.
+Not being a good king because he was not prepared for it is such a lame excuse. He neglected his people and left them unprotected from invasion because he was traumatized by war. You said he wasn't prepared to rule as king but he didn't even bother to teach his daughter, which he considered the true king, how to rule. Like Yona had less time to learn this stuff but she did anyways. King Il had given up from the beginning, he sealed his own fate. He was waiting to be killed by Soo won.
I don't know what else to say... This is getting ridiculous
I wish there was a like button for this.
