omegaverse in general is just insanely heteronormative and packed with “misogyny.” legit makes me so uncomfortable so i’ll drop this but the story is quite unique

You’re right. I struggled for a long time with ABO, it’s a rehashing of heteronormativity and turned up to 11 with the lack of choice,

Funny. I like omegaverse because it has a unique spin on parenthood and other heteronormative practices surrounding parenthood and pregnancy. The fact that anyone can get anyone pregnant is a cherry and top and removes the inherent responsibility of having children only on women's shoulders.

probably bc that's the point. it's the author exploring real world issues through speculative biology. basically just queer theories but with lots of swamp ass.

Omegaverse changes the form but not the content.
the omegas are the women and the alphas are the men the balance in society stays the same.

(Please ignore the following rant if you want)
    .
The child bearers are the ones who quit their career to take care of the kids, and if they're unfortunate enough to end up raising them alone the entire neighborhood talks behind their backs, they get ostracized and bla bla bla. I mean alpha women can try for kids too but it hardly ever happens because being a child bearer would lower their "masculine" status.

I DO like the fatherhood aspect of omegaverse, and the simple funny unserious ones, but oftentimes it feels like revenge writing from women who want to see men suffer, and they don't even make the bad ones suffer!!

That's why this story is interesting, because it's raw, grim and doesn't hide what it is : an alpha (man) who turned into an omega (woman) and goes through the issues he was comfortably laughing about in the past

    Sorry for all the ranting

It has been a good journey and I tried my hardest to be patient… but alas, it was not meant to be. I shall abandon this book; still, my heart aches as it wants to see thine manhwa succeed. Hast thou not grown tired of the constant provocative acts? I doth feel disheartened.

Best wishes,
Yours truly
