Reached ch 64 but i gotta pause and say this to future readers. I have been binge read this for a few days in my passing time and I honestly can’t find where the story is going. Same shits been repeating and the story progression is just lacking in every way. I’ve read other action/thriller bl too. Even with more smut filler scenes, they have wayyyy better storyline. (I’d recommend u guys to read Red Candy.) While this one, after 63 long chapters, I think i can count the smut fillers but i still dont know what the story is about if someone were to ask me to write a summary about it. All i know is the mcs are both red flag. One with no empathy, almost built to be a non-human organism, while the other dont have a functioning brain. Just letting ilay cross the boundaries with no hesitation. Ugh there’s so many things that irks me in this story but I’ll end it here.

this story is so fucking trash and it’s not even funny?? the filler for mc’s and the twinks relationship was nothing so it was incredibly forced to see how “deep” their relationship got. then with ilay, their relationship is really fake complex and it’s laughable. mc hates him + his actions disgust him, but then can’t find himself hating him and creates excuses out of thin air. made no sense… then the twin brother creating a machine gun blueprint from scratch as a child ??? YOURE JOKING!!! someone told me this was good and focused on plot lmao. i feel completely catfished and only finished reading in one sitting due to hate
I adore the artwork, it's incredibly beautiful and soothing to look at. The style gives off a delightful Ghibli vibe. What captivates me the most is the storytelling – the author's ability to intricately weave everything together. It's intriguing how a sense of anticipation and excitement coexist. The heartwarming moments, the intense emotions, and the nostalgia for someone unknown. It's truly amazing how such a brief story can evoke such a range of emotions. Hopefully, I'll stumble upon another treasure like this soon. I just know that this one will hold a special place in my heart for a long time.

I saw a comment on the title page mentioning the absence of "I love you" exchanges, which piqued my interest. I truly adore words of affirmation and cherish it when characters express their feelings through them. I was eagerly anticipating romantic moments, waiting for declarations of love, but they never came. I wish I could say that I absolutely adored this story, but it feels like something is missing, especially from a romance genre perspective. Maybe it's just me.
I was kinda okay with this one cause the crown prince at least got him ready, gently guiding and lubricate the rear orifice (new vocab i discovered lol) before the deed. Though he left him dying alone like a fish, he went back to the chamber and check on him. Far better than most historical men in this site. And the art is pretty too! The princess is ssssoooo cute and dainty, with his lashes and flushed cheecks omg i love him so much already. But the crown prince look a lot like bold glamor filter on tiktok and the queen never cry mommy lol he has no facial muscles i guess. All of his expression looks the same unlike the princess. Nevertheless, i will keep on waiting for updates cause i like the art so much
