I dont know bout others but I like this story.
Idk why people act all intellectual pointing out everything wrong with stories.. c'mon nothing can be perfect.
I really appreciate the artists and authors who spend months and years to create these manhwas but seriously what's wrong with u'll
Firstly u'll reading it illegally and then u'll say its crap/trash and wht not .. its just a story if ur seriously affected.. forget and move on.
I remember I was reading it when it was ongoing but somehow I forgot about this. Today I ended up reading it from the start. Cute story ^^
The author note in the end was sooo idk how to say, but all the artists, authors and everyone who work to make these, I really feel grateful to them. Alot of struggles are put into for creating these. It took almost 3 years for this one to complete. I'm so thankful to the team who worked hard for past years to provide us with such good content.
I'm currently on 202th chapter. I'm honestly shook the MC aka Dokja is just ...there is no word to describe him. I have never read such a character ...
Also can someone spoile me whether the ending is happy or sad or bittersweet.
It’s a good ending
Thats good I don't wanna suffer TT TT
I would call it slightly bitter but stunning
it's really meta lol definitely not sad though. you'll get what i mean when you finish it
Dont assume that it has a good ending, since it is actually an "open ending."
We actually have different opinion about how it ends, some may say it is good and some may say it has a bad ending, but for me the ending is not a typical ending, since the ending was left to be thought by us, the readers.
Are you confused of what Im saying?
Cause I was also confused or perplexed about how the last chapter of the novel ended
I mean given my definition of a good ending is when the characters are happy and together and things are resolved. The ending in the novel gives good clues to closure and happiness in the group. So I think it’s a happy ending. I don’t know if it really qualifies as a bad ending because to m a bad ending is when everyone is suffering when they don’t deserve it and there is no closure.
I didnt mean in to be a bad ending, its just that for me. I think it has a confusing ending rather than a good or bad ending because how the author left to the readers imagination on how the things would be after the said ending.
But, yes I accept that it was good ending for you, I just want to say to the person who named "zarix" that we has different meaning of the ending and he or she should not based the ending to other people because it is "expect the unexpected" stuff.
I just mean that we had different perspective about the ending and he or she (zarix) might thought it was really a good ending, when half of the people thought it was a good ending, while half of the people thought it was a confusing ending or should I say different from what endings are typical to many novels.
Makes sense I just wanted to reply and clarify my definition cause you brought up a good point about definitions and stuff hopefully OP will see and still read cause ORV is one of my favorite novels
Understandable. This novel isn't type which can end all rainbows and sunshine. What I meant is that I dont want to be dissappointed with unncessary plot twist in the ending ..
Ikr I loved his character so much
Yes, thank you for both of you (MidnightWorld & zarix) for understanding my perspective, Im sorry because my first message might sound too strong and you think I was seeking for argument.
Okie I'm finally done with reading the Novel. This novel's storyline was way more complex then I thought. Honestly its a masterpiece.. the theme as well as emotions were portrayed so beautifully. And everyone finding their own ending was amazing concept. About Epilogue he needed only 1% of his memory back/the 1% of himself that no one knew about aka probably that part of soul which knew his own conclusion. Since the novel ended with ⸢This story is for just that one reader.⸥ I feel he came back.

If you wanted him to come back then he did, literally. My interpretation is that we're one of Kim Dokja's souls that are scattered through the universe reading the novel and since everything The Most Ancient Dream (aka KDJ) dreams becomes reality, if all the Kim Dokja's, including us wish for a happy ending for the KDJ Company it'll come true
Omg omg omg I literally adore every single character. From Bihyun to Dionysus. Precious Gilyoung, Yoosang, Uriel and Biyoo. All the party members even Mr Han. At first I didnt like Sooyoung cause she acted like a bitch and obviously cause she was introduced as Plagiarist writter but my goodness She is literal Queen. I kinda dislike Jonghyuk cause he super rude but then again he had miserable life but he does act soft sometimes so never mind. About him not giving up on saving Dokja everytime is also really heartwarming... that I had mental breakdown and cried
Dokja plz he is best MC best best best best seriously I love him so much .. his interactions with character are soooo deep. Him as father figure towards Biyoo and Yoosang. Him as older brother Gilyoung and Jihye. Him as partner towards Jonghyuk, Sooyoung, Hyungseung, Heewon, Hayoung, Sangha etc. Him as saviour towards citizens and various characters like Selena. Him as son towards Sookyung, Persephone and Hades. Him as disciple towards Kyrgios. Him as idol towards Uriel. Him as younger brother towards Ancient Liberator. And many other beautiful interactions with other characters like Mass Producer Maker, Goryeo First Sword, Namwoon, Anna etc.
Seriously I have never felt such affection towards any character as I feel towards Dokja. I genuinely love the cast and I love myself that I decided to read this without anyone recommending me (I started reading this cause I found the name interesting XD). Nevertheless the title is accurate according to the concept.
Wow this theory Is really good. I hope Kim Dokja's Company is chill rn at beachside. I wonder what job Dokja will do after returning
