They curated this manwha so perfectly. Its such a common successor fight to the throne sect trope but this specific manwha really pulled me in. I love how personal and gray each of the characters are, like they arent created to center around the MC but rather created to flesh out the story. Its so fascinating how they approach the relationship dynamics too. Its so wholesome but not in a way that doesnt feel forced but it rather flows naturally that you cant help but feel for each and one of the characters that are presented. I also like this way of “doing good deeds” unlike the others ive read where theyre just blindlessly purifying all the “bad things”. The MC understands that the demon sect has a huge politics play where he have to worry about internal as well as external forces, so him making moves while calculating its disadvantages and advantages feels more mature.
Overall this is one of those manwhas where you just cant wait for one chapter each week that you ended up seeking for the novel instead which i did lol
Ive been reading the novel and THANKFULLY it seems that the author is planning on having no ML, you do see the development of both of them ML and it will be known that both like her but it seems that its just one sided because she hasn’t developed any feelings for either of them. I think its kind of a refreshing take because theres so many countless Female centered fantasy action manwha to have an knight in shining armor ML who smitten the FL’s hearts, but its not for this case..
Oh thank God. I was about to drop it if the guy becomes ML
