just reading yaoi doesnt make you an mlm fetishizer! im a nonbinary lesbian and i read a lot of yaoi just because i enjoy reading lgbt stories and can identify with them more than with stories about cis heterosexual couples. fetishizing would mean that you support mlm only bc theyre cute or sexy together and associate gay men with sexual positions......   reply

idk where you heard that from but i havent heard any wlw claiming that yaoi was founded by wlw?? its common knowledge that yaoi is usually drawn by straight women for straight women, especially because yaoi couples are often extremely heteronormative (seme = very manly, uke = very feminine). theres nothing wrong with reading mlm fiction as a heter......   1 reply
