No this is not normal. Did you ever hurt your jaw? If you never sustained injury on your jaw or mouth, it could possibly be do to muscle strain ( muscles around the jaw tighten up or joints around your jaw) If this is the case best to exercise your jaw , avoid gum, try not to stretch your yawn when u do ( cause that will hurt ) I can't actuall......
