in my own opinion the black hair ml isnt as kind as id think he is , sure he took in mc (took in mc for a reason ) aka blondie which means hes fully responsible for mc actions , i totally blame him for how blondie aka mc behaves , instead of setting boundaries between himself and mc he just allows everything to happen . on top of that he acts very coldly too mc instead of communicating and letting the mc know were he draws the line . sure mc is manipulative and a mayor red flag although ml did allow things to go too far . so in the end both is at fault and considering ml being the adult at the time puts him in the wrong seens hes older then mc , as an adult its your job to take responsibility .

THIS right here, he's partly responsible for the way things are turning out. There's literally no reason for him to go along with him if he REALLY didn't want to do those things with him, and that just makes him a hypocritical character who can't make up his mind. He has literally went from poverty to a lawyer, there's no way he doesn't have the backbone to win an argument against a kid. Winning arguments is literally his job description, I feel like the story is just glossing over common sense to in order to play out this twisted dynamic, in which a child is obsessed with a grown up instead. Like that's all this is coming down to.

Be mindful with your words, the way you phrase it sounds like victim blaming 'There's literally no reason for him to go along with him if he REALLY didn't want to do those things with him' we need to realise that despite our personal views Taekyung had no way to predict that Heeseo would sexually assault and rape him. As OP said, Heeseo is manipulating Taekyung, anybody of any age, race and gender can be a victim and what happens to them isnt their fault. We always should put the fault of the crime onto the perpetrator and not the victim because we ourselves can never fully understand the struggles the victim (Taekyung) can be going through. Yes, Taekyung is irresponsible and no, its not his fault he is being abused by Heeseo. He may be the older person but do realise that he watched Heeseo try to kill himself, its clear taht would affect the way he treats him. Cold yet he lets Heeseo do what he wants because he knows Heeseo is more than willing to harm himself or others. Of course, how taekyung does his job with this sort of mentality is rather bizarre but i suppose its harder to argue with close ones than it is to a criminal you dont know.

The thought did cross me that I might be thinking too much into Taekyungs actions, but that only sent me into a loop of how much of this can truly be attributed to his own negligence/irresponsibility or Heeseo's inherent nature or possibly nurture to react like this. We can't say if he had taken the right steps would Heeseo still act out like this, but from what I've read so far he's just someone who wants support or someone to ground him but strangely spirals into episodes, his interactions with Taekyung and his apathy could be making it worse or not. I'm not directing my anger at the character but more so the author for not fleshing out these characters properly and instead having them make choices or ignore obvious flags just so they end up together in a way that the younger more mentally unstable one is obsessed with the older seemingly put together one. After the first instance of rpe, the most reasonable thing would be to get him help and put him back on therapy and avoid another incidents from ever occuring. The first instance is enough reason to put one's guard up, especially against someone you have no intention of ever having that type of relations with. He was literally pleading with him to not do it the first time and is still able to face him and converse with him normally now? That's what's bizarre.

Ah thats a very common trauma response believe it or not! When i was assaulted i didn't even acknowledge it and still spoke to my abuser normally for weeks until he and my family eventually parted ways. One of your brains trauma responses is to not register the trauma nor acknowledge it, in order to protect itself. You notice how Taekyungs reactions and actions change while hes assaulted by Heeseo? Thats because hes reliving the trauma, its hard to explain but during the assault its almost like you let out all the emotions you didn't let yourself have before and then once its over your brain goes on protection mode and they're all gone. I experience the same exact thing as Taekyung so i feel like his character makes sense to me. I can get it if you think hes not fleshed out enough though, the way he acts feels somewhat nonsensical but then again i did the same thing as him. It is a really nonsensical way to cope but its definitely a real one.

i wish they would just communicate there true feelings already but ig HeLBeRT needs to learn, character development for both uke and seme . as cliche as this might be , ( i liked kill the lights so im hoping this one will be good as the author last work )
im staying for 2 things >>>
1 : the art style
2: smut

I'm happy he didn't pick yohan ( I love yohan)
If he did pick yohan it would only prove that he indeed always gets what he wants in the end , yohan need to learn to respect people's feelings more and stop treating them like they are his toys . By the mc not choosing yohan it should give him some ch development plus I ship him more with camera dude ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
this is what i have to say live , love , read , and dont be a door mat..
Okay I'm seeing this doormat comment everywhereee. What does it mean ??
doormat meaning letting others walk all over u / treat u badly . the little bunny in this is allowing ml to walk all over him.
