For the people feeling like Astaleau doesn't derseve punshiment. He deserves the punishment, remember in the dinner he was laughing with Balzac trying to make the FL look bad. Also, he decides to follow Balzac so it his fault for following a dumb guy like him, if he want to follow someone he should follow that smart and has a good personality.
This seems realistic, especially in real life with a golden child sibling and the doormat or less favorite. Yes her sister did nothing wrong but Helga more happier and mentally healthy without her sister in her life and she REALIZES it. Also, why does Helga have to lie that she doesn't want her sister in her life? Should she be two-faced? Should she pretend to tolerate or like her sister? She was just being truthful and not toying with her sister's feelings, yes she was harsh but the sister knew this before meeting again.
