Maybe I've gone nuts over how many times I've reread this masterpiece but I'm genuinely curious if this is intentional or I'm just overanalyzing. Yk everytime I see a depiction of "Remilia" she always has this bold-colored lips, when she's wearing the mask as "Emi" her lips don't have color at all,, and maybe I'm reaching, but when she's "Emi's Remilia" she has light colored lips. This is most evident in her god killing arc, and chapter 15. And like,, I've truly never seen her smile in front of someone with her bold colored lips, it's always the mask of "Emi" that's smiling. We only ever see her smile as Remilia w her bold colored lips whenever she's alone or it's something pivotal to Pina's downfall.
I'm genuinely tweaking cuz Emi never lived for "herself" when she was Remilia, her actions were always for Remilia. Now Remilia is living for Emi. God, how I love these two so much. Literally the purest form of love.
