Why the hell does this novel not have the psychological genre tag? This shit is so fucked up and depressing, I've cried more times than I can count on any stories I've cried on. Please don't tell me he ends up with the loan shark/tattoo guy- their relationship isn't healthy, it's
toxic and I just want my baby boy to be happy with someone who's good for him ╥﹏╥
For people who don't know what Lima Syndrome is:
Lima syndrome is a psychological response in which a captor or abuser develops a positive bond with a victim. When this happens, they may become empathetic to the individual's circumstances or condition.
For example, people who are kidnapped or taken hostage often feel threatened by their captor, but they are also highly reliant on them for survival. If the kidnapper or abuser shows them some kindness, they may begin to feel positive feelings toward their captor for this “compassion.”
The uke being rejected in every interview and bullied makes me suspicious of the seme since he's rich and him doing that (based on the title) is a very seme thing to do. The uke is poor and he has to rely on the seme since he's an omega.
Omegas are shunned in society? Maybe?
The uke has no money and him being an omega, he really has no choice but to rely on the seme. The seme on the other hand is rich, an alpha and has a crush on the uke?
Kind of interested in this. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
