He's raped by his first wife, and didn't get to heal his trauma, all at he age of 15. Because of that, he developed phobia of women, so of course he'd not want to dance with MC or even get close to women in general.

I didn’t have any problem with ML b4 just thought he was a typical cold but is actually sweet ML. The dance was more the duty of a king than a husband. If you don’t respect her as your wife he should at least respect her as the queen of his kingdom (especially since this dance has so much significance)
Wait what I’m trying to say is that I wasn’t mad at the ML because he didn’t like FL. I totally understand that he went through some traumatic experiences. I just found the dance thing disrespectful. Also he doesn’t treat his daughter well . But I guess it’s a “abused to abuser” situation :( Also I literally had no idea that he went through that. I was judging him by his previous actions.

Like I get it you read the novel and you guys want to make us love ML but still like people are saying their opinion abt what’s happening rn . We only at chapter 26 can y’all not tell us the major points of this entire story just cuz we don’t like ML :)) Like when’s the time to know we’ll know and eventually our opinion on ML will be fully formed thank you
