Does anyone else hate yaoi mangas/manhwas that are centered solely around sex or have a bad plot/toxic relationship, but fill the story with fanservice to make up for it? Those are always the kinds of yaoi that get popular, but I honestly can’t stand them. During the sex scenes in a lot of yaois, I notice that the ukes often say “No” or “Stop” yet the semes keep going? I know it’s supposed to make the scene more hot but it just gives me a rape-y vibe, to be honest (even though I know they’re not being raped). It’s getting harder and harder to find a good yaoi nowadays.
Being in the LGBT community, it just feels like a lot of people fetishize gay couples. Anyway, I’d really appreciate it if some of you guys would recommend me some yaois that aren’t centered around sex, don’t have a shy/cowardly uke, and have an actual plot. Thank you~♡
yesss I totally agree!! I’m getting really sick of these toxic tropes and plots that are almost identical !
Here are some recommendations that are pretty wholesome and actually have interesting plots !

If somebody says "No" or "Stop" during sex, it is rape if the other person doesn't listen. The only exception would be if they agreed that saying stuff like that ahead of time didn't actually mean "No" or "Stop". Best of luck finding some manga that you are looking for. My favorite is Guang Xiang, but it is a shounen-ai, not yaoi so... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah most BL seems to exist to please a female audience's kinks and things that LGBT+ people like reading about are absent. It gets really boring. Where are the stories about being outed at school, or outed to your family, or bullied severely because of your sexuality, or being isolated and having no other LGBT+ people around you and no romantic prospects? These stories don't appeal to straight people, so they don't exist. The closest we have in the mainstream atm is 'Someone Else's BL Manhwa,' which does cover an impressive range of subjects.
Whilst everyone has read these, and they aren't very LGBT+ targetting, Honto Yajuu and Ameiro Paradox have solid plots and not just sex.
Another worth reading (although it's not complete yet) is Koimonogatari ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/koimonogatari/ ) ... shounen ai. Highly recommend it, in its way so far in dealing with gay issues.
everything you're saying, all those beliefs and judgements, lead to what? They lead to you not enjoying anything and everything you read. If you don't want a "rapey vibe" then get the notion out of your head that someone saying "no" during the passion and lust of sex is something for you to to use to feed your rape hangup. Admit it, this "rapey vibe" idea didn't even come from you or your deep contemplation and examination of your thoughts regarding rape. This is someone else's idea that you and about a million other immature ya's, who never think for themselves and never think anything through, have picked up and circulated in that rabid, obnoxious "me too" mob mentality.
Why is HE doing the chasing when he was the one who was ghosted? I hope jaehee has at least been thinking about him just as much, if not more while they were separated :/
No seriously.. also from the whole onset with their relationship.. the artist had been putting more effort in the relationship and the communication often stemmed from him trying to work with the musician
So yeah then to add a chasing arc makes him look a bit pitiful (I know pinning isn’t bad because sometimes you have to chase to get the guy/girl/person but this no honey..
exactly this!!! it's a no from me if I was ghosted like that... let alone do the chasing??? no thanks
