I'de agree childhood friends to lovers is kind of bland. But my absolute favorite is the night after a drunken get together between a straight guy and gay guy. ITS SO GOOD I DONT KNOW WHHYYYY!!

childhood/best friends into lovers is a trope i also love bc it's fluffy with the right amount of angst (most times anyway).

i usually go for anything thats almost completed or has a lot of chapters

but the tropes i HATE are "tormented seme" who is a jerk because of past experiences or relationships. There are no excuses to treat someone like trash. I also hate the uke that lets them treat them like trash, because they're so f*cking stupid shm (but im talking about ones that are like straight up assholes with 0 redemption)

i dislike teacherXstudent where the student is the top

my favorites are outgoing and slutty bottoms, rivals, unrequited love from both sides (because their such dummies) and puppy semes

I hate love triangles they stress me tf out. I also dislike childhood friends only because they grew up together and for me I could only be able to see them as a sibling so it’s kinda weird

in the first few months when I was around 17 I used to go for the typical ones like popular, high school. now few years ahead that doesn't interest me as much.

reunions of childhood friends is still good. rivals is interesting too. now I got for more older ones that naturally meet, office romance, not so much with stereotypical plot/characters

I love me some good enemies to lovers, grown couples, and dynamics where both parties are strong willed. I also adore when one of them is a marshmallow fluff and the other is just head over heels in love with them and can't take their cuteness.

I can't stand love triangles, I always feel bad for one party or just irritated the whole way through. I also hate power imbalances where one of them abuses their position of power to torment or harass the other, and the other person just takes it or falls in love even while they're being treated like trash.

Highly dislike love triangles and pushy semes. Also, any trope where one of the characters are SUPPOSED TO apologize for what they’ve done wrong to the other person but dont do that and still end up falling in love with a happy ending (bully x bullied for example).

I actually quite like the childhood lover trope cause that shit fluffy. Teacher x student is one of my favourites when its actually done right as well XD. Favourite tropes are probably office relationships and one night stand turned something more
