Oof now I’m a little worried about the pregnancy. I totally understand where the MC is coming from but also the imprint thing makes this a little more serious. MC not only has his and his baby’s life on the line but now also the ML’s life because of the imprint. Like if MC dies then he’s taking two lives with him (baby and ML) and that freaks me out. But of course that won’t happen and they’ll survive (probably, I haven’t read ahead) but the possibility of that happening is so sad. But all in all I support MC’s decision no matter what it is cuz it’s the end he’s the one giving birth and it’s his decision.
