what sucks is that i totally understand this dads pov. my father is exactly like that to my older sister and it hurts so much. When she comes home from college he's never that nice because she's his step-daughter technically speaking. we're only two years apart, but she's always been treated like she was 10 years older, so i really feel bad for Iilyan. (My dad is still great, and there's no physical or mental abuse, it's just he's not as nice and doesn't treat her entirely like his daughter)
