Okay I have re read this so many times because I apparently am obsessed with the MCs and want to have a person who lives me enough to give me the world. Anyway I have some questions.
1. Does he know maize from a previous reincarnation ?sometimes he mentions her like they have known each other for hundreds of years.
2. Is he self aware he is a novel because I feel like he knows more than he should .
3. How do the fates fit into this will they try and send her home ?
have a question - how could the author leave us hanging like that ? Will our female lead be immortal or just die so quickly ? I cannot imagine the effect this will have on our beloved male lead as he it totally devoted to her. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars !! I feel the story ended far too quickly and there is so much more room it to grow. I have never ever commented on a manga but this story was far too good to miss the opportunity ! I have to say my soul pretty much died reading this ! If anyone knows of an extra series coming out please please please let me know
I don't know if I am right with this one, and I don't know if you read the side stories. At first they said that once Millard mates with a human, he'll become human as well. He did, because they had Weijen. But other than that, they had their vows which contradicts with him becoming human after mating. The vow, from what I understood, is him tying his life to hers, and they become "one". Once the vow is done, he will die if she dies. That's pretty much it hehe. I hope I shed some light on this

It wasn't that he would be mortal after mating, I believe it was that he would become more humane and that she would become his weakness. The way she would become his weakness is the vow, so the whole plan was to have him say his vows with her and then kill her which will kill him, since that was the only way to end his immortality. Oh my god. This manga is so good. It explores female characters in a way haven’t seen in manga before and shows different sexuality’s and types of identities and just makes it seem completely normal during the storyline. I SHIP THE MCs SO GODDAMN MUCH ! there is this whole tension leading up to them finally coming together but my god is it worth it ! I love the fact he is scarred realistically and that they are both so perfect for each other !! I cannot wait for more - I hope they have kids !!
