So far, Dowon is such a babe. He's smart, articulate, funny, and good-looking. He also cares for Beom, and I am genuinely enjoying their dynamic.

From both sides of the characters, Yuri and Seonwoo, we can see how the adults have failed them in one way or another. From Yuri not receiving proper love, to his adoptive sister feeling like she was a burden and only used to make Yuri's parents feel good about themselves. Then, we have Seonwoo's mother being a narcissist who likes to shift the blame and talk bad about others. Lastly, we have A's parents who left him behind, his father missing and his mother abandoning him. These characters, they all have their fair share of open wounds that are not yet healed. So, for them to act in this or that way, not saying that Yuri hurting Seonwoo is justified, but I can see an inkling why it happened. They are all hurt, trying to find the proper way to make sense of things and navigate through life. This chapter makes me cry so much.

hating on tia bc she's "dense" is one of the stupidest thing i've ever read. she may be a great strategist but she has a very low self-esteem. her mother would pit them together and calling herself to be the most beautiful, most deserving of love and attention while her daughter wears old dresses and never gets to enjoy proper meal until cedric comes around. imagine living like that for 16/17 years. you're bound to feel like you're undeserving of what you actually deserve.

Jiri is going through a lot. His crush got married, he is dealing with work pressure and he seems to not have any friends at all other than his one-sided crush. Jiri also lead a life where he wakes up, goes to work, goes back home, drinks himself to sleep then repeat the whole cycle again. I understand his character and empathize with him as well. The both of them are people that are struggling with their own issues that it would make sense for them to depend one another, whether it turns out in a positive light or just pain.
