The duke is one of the shittiest characters imho.
Why is he still clung unto the hope that Cliff could be a good heir? Anyone have a spoiler/insight about his attitude in the novel, even if it the story changed so much up to now?
I just can't wrap my head around this. Sounds like a golden child situation and a narcissist father doting exclusively on a shit ass son.
