i see some of y'all saying like "dis the bare minimum blah blah blah" and while i do somewhat agree, i think you fail to realize 1, the era they are in and 2, you don't account for seungho's personality. he is a NOBLE. he is a prideful, selfish, and inconsiderate person by nature. that's just who he is. that's what makes this scene so important. seungho, a LORD, is bathing a literal peasant. he is asking for permission from someone who does not even MATTER on the social hierarchy. calling nakyum a "lord" is so, so significant. this is seungho essentially saying "you control me. you own me." this is seungho finally acknowledging that nakyum has some sort of effect on him. that nakyum has POWER.
i love this translator/uploader. they go above and beyond to explain this shit to us fr. i really do be needing those notes
i'm sorry but like ?? "my lord nakyum" ?? the prideful selfish seungho is referring to NAKYUM as a lord ?! brother ... i know you said you can't bow down to him but you might as-fucking-well now ?! my god. the significance of this is just U G H !!
i'm seeing a lot of talk about babies and shit, do any babies die in this ? cuz i don't want to read that
