Please do yourself a big favor and visit a reputable piercer to get your piercing done with a needle. The gun can cause tissue damage, is less sanitary and hurts more than a needle. Good luck!
Edit. I got my cartilage done with a gun, but unfortunately, it didn't heal well despite taking good care of it :/
