look, goddess hwi-seon gave you a second chance at life so that you can change and avoid everything that happened in your past life. you met the emperor in his child form in the forest and you changed that too, and in turn lead to the emperor becoming a better person, a person unlike the asshole he knew in the past. what he’s not getting here is that people are capable of change. and in this case, yeo-dam has heavily influenced the positive change in emperor jin-hwa. but at the same time, i also understand the trauma from the emperor from his past life. it’s not easy to forget the horrible things the emperor did to him, and i applaud him for even mustering up the courage to go talk to the emperor again. either way, uploader said that there will be character development, and i’m very much looking forward to that. this is a really really nice manga, and i hope that the both of them find a happy ending.

jesus christ this was one hell of a roller coaster.. i feel like the story was dragged on way too much but it was nice to see.. i’m a little confused imma need a few days to settle how i completely feel about what happened at the end. i mean i guess i liked it? idk how to feel about jeremy and ian having a romantic/sexual relationship because i feel like it ruined them both and ruined jeremy’s progress into moving on and overcoming the trauma from greg and the shit greg did to him. jeremy can’t get over the fact that ian is greg’s son, and it’s the same for ian as well. hes mixing himself up with his father and forgetting he’s his own person because he’s constantly thinking about what his father, greg, did to jeremy. ugh i can’t
