I feel bad for the brothers too, from their perspective they may be able to renew the relationship. When they were kids, they were afraid of angering the father and getting shunned as well. They never learned how to express affection from their father. Now that they can stand up for themselves and are missing their sister they realized that they should act on it.
However after spending 400 years as a reluctant killing machine with no free will there should be no way for her to forgive them. The mental torture she went through is simply too much. It is sad. But the father is still a fucking ass.
