Wow look at all this terrible parents popping out of nowhere ╥﹏╥

The mother was hinted to have been heavily abused, so for me she's not terrible, just another victim. And we don't know her side yet, so it's quite early to call her too terrible. It takes a lot of mental stability to see further from your instinct to run away from your abuser and consider everything. My guess is, she was damn far away from being ready to have a kid, the tipical "Well, I got pregnant, fuck, what to do" type of person, and I personally don't expect a mom like this type to think ahead. They usually concentrate on saving themselves and later regret not saving the kid too. And no, I still can't blame them, as it's human instinct to save yourself first.

Again, you disregard the mother who is also human. I perfectly agree with you on the kid having major priority, but it's inhumane to call a person terrible, when they also suffered years of abuse AND physical punishment as well if I remember correct from the previous chapters. I'm not saying wow it's okay you left your boy with the shit father he had, no. I'm saying I get it she wanted out and she was nearly not so strong mentally to take on the heavy task of escaping with her son and starting anew. She would constantly see his ex-husband in the kid, and believe me, not everybody is so noble as to disregard this even if they know the kid is not at fault at all. She's human, and a weak one. If I want to hate somebody here, it's the father: he pulverized all the happiness of the mother and his son.

Yeah, but couldnt she have tried to save her son from his dad when she was stable enough to do so?!? Also, why is she just showing up now after all these years when hyesung has already moved on and accepted the fact that his mom left him? I feel like her showing up out of nowhere after leaving him when he was like 5 or something is just gonna hurt him even more, or maybe the opposite, idk ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I don't think she wants to hurt him, but maybe I'm wrong. We have to wait another ten days or so for the next chapter to find out what she wants. As for why she didn't go back: probably her trauma never got treated, she never coped with the whole thing and yeah, she could start a new life but to go back to your personal hell without any weapons and understanding... it's like suicide. These all just my personal impressions on her.

AHSJXJKAJFKDKENDJDN PLS. Her AUDACITY to shift the blame onto her son for "not looking for her" when he was literally just a KID is just......wow. I am appalled. And i was literally sympathizing with her at first bc her reasons for leaving were kinda valid but when she started blaming hyesung, my respect for her went

I see your point and it's totally valid. Still, in my personal opinion, she's still a very real and well-imagined character and there are a lot of people like this out there, but that is not why I'm not hating her. I blame her partially only. The bigger part of my blame goes obviously to the father who (if all what the mom said is true) effectively torn them apart from each other using the fact that both mother and child were extremely mentally abused by him to the point of not even having the courage to believe they need each other. I'm willing to believe her words, although yes, she was the adult, she should have initiated the contact first and way before finding out what happened with Hye-sung afterwards she decided to leave.
I see her as being as Hye-sung 10/10 personalitywise and lookwise. She easy to stress out, runs away, doesn't want responsibility at all and not because out of cockyness, but because of fear against it. I pity her and Hye-sung, honestly, because either nobody is willing to take their hands, or if there is anybody, they either cannot accept that hand out of fear or accept it after a long time (like Hye-sung). And they are very easy to blame for everything going bad. Not everybody grows up in this overly competitive and cruel world and they are usually crushed under society's weight. I honestly pity her.
It's probably the best if they don't see each other ever again, because from the point of relationship dynamics, neither of them can take a leader role and initiate the healing of their mother-son relationship. Or if they meet again, that will be probably thanks to Hye-sung being stronger mentally, calmer, more free of anxiety, stress and probably in the process, or after healing from the past traumas.
So no, I can't totally blame her, just in a smaller part. I would still like to smash the face of the father as he's a total sociopath and effectively destroyed two people mentally. He's the real deal here.

Oh, i see. I respect your opinion, she was also a victim of abuse so i can see why she did that, i was just mad at the fact that she started blaming hyesung for "not looking for her" but i dont completely hate her.
Anyways, THANK THE ADMINS MANGAGO IS BACK, I WAS SO WORRIED THAT MY LISTS AND BOOKMARKS WERE GONE, THAT WOULDVE BEEN HORRIBLE.
Wasn't that the camera guy?
