the concept being magical girls and the color palette (mainly sunset colors with other vibrant colors not usually see at sunset) remind me of LoL's star guardian series, particularly the Everything Goes On MV. the music is literally composed by Porter Robinson which is one of the best artist who comprehend well the emotion of 'nostalgia' and present it perfectly in his songs.
theres other songs in kpop that use the imaginary of sunset, the fictional theme and the nostalgia emotion perfectly, like WJSN's Secret, f(x)'s Shadow and 4 Walls, EXID's Night Rather Than Day (not exactly magical but the instrumental is godly and magical) and for boys group, maybe TXT's Golden Hour i think
yeah just some random thoughts but this specific kind of concept evokes so much emotion and imaginary, loved it.
i have nothing appropriate to say about the professor... why is this mf so hot if hes a fucking villain
in the novel, there's a part where Christelle described what she liked best about Cedric too (she was describing Jesse too as a revenge)
“I like that his Royal Highness is kind hearted. He smiles well and is nice to children and animals.”
– Clang.
The spoon that was broken in half by the Imperial Prince weakly fell to the table.
Christelle felt as if the side of her face was on fire but she did not pay it any attention and continued to speak.
“There is nothing he wants from me politically and he is extremely respectful. Ah, the color of his eyes are very pretty too.”
you guys are crazy for normalizing breeding kink but yeah im crazy too
This show made me love classical music even more lol. Still remember the memory of when I first get into it
Crazy how the anime was released 12 years ago. Still remember the chills when I heard Bach's Cello Suite in the first episode. The feelings, the vibes, the nostalgia, the pacing, the atmosphere - everything was on point. Nothing ever came close to this anime (Hibike! Euphonium might on a rainy day) and it shaped my whole world back when I was a teen. I just love otaku culture so much
why does bro look like the killer from killer crush anyway the ml is super cute
i first read this on the afternoon of august 25, 2021. the reason why i remembered that date specifically wasn't because this is a good manhwa, it was because i listened to Ichiko Aoba's Windswept Adan for the first time while reading this.
i can still remember that i didn't like the uke for some reason and the story was so slow paced that i focused more on the music playing on the background and to this day Ichiko Aoba's still my favorite musical artist and Windswept Adan is my most favorite album of all time. helped me through a lot of sleepless night. her music is just beautiful and serene, fitting whether it's day or night
there seems to be some kind of connection between the two though. the common theme/color in the manhwa, as i noticed, is the color of rain and gloomy days. Windswept Adan, too, has aquatic theme, from the vast ocean to the tropical storms.
while this manhwa is not that of a great read, i still have a special place in my heart for it and i still think of it often after all these years.
so... can someone spoil me who's the male lead? i really like Eden, hes such a cutie
in chapter 53, when they mention the characters Heathcliff and Catheryne, was it a reference to Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights? i swear the main character of that novel had the same name
Yeseo (Jesse) is clueless lol. Cedric clearly sent those gifts to console and make him feel less lonely, but he thought that those gifts were sent to be confined with him
And in the novel, Cedric met Yeseo privately to tell him that Cedric, Christine and Blanquer were going to come up with a plan to get him out of here. But in this chapter they removed that and replaced with the scene they all come together It's more gay in the novel istg
i can smell the comments just from the cover... hes such a dilf tho i get u guys
i have read this since the very beginning (2021) and everytime i come back to this, the art is still gorgeous like it was before
