What a wonderful manga! As someone pursuing medicine this was quite a treat! I really like how it was emphasized that medicine is a combination of treatment, research, and spreading knowledge. And that scene where the vampire dad was distrusting reminds me of how it can be a thankless profession sometimes. Our mc reminds me of Tanjiro from Demon Slayer with his kindheartedness haha. <3
Oh and the greedy corrupt humans gate keeping healing magic reminds me of UHC and healthcare insurance corpos. Cant wait until they’re dealt with lol.
I also don’t see the “harem-vibes” people are hating about. They’re all just supporting each other in medicine and there doesn’t seem to be any intention of romance at all. Rlly cool how the different characters have different roles, like anesthesia, scrub tech, etc. Anyways, women in stem frfr
But I loved it! I loved the diversity in the character designs and the plot wasn’t too bad!
I could kinda get how the other commenters were saying it was “asianified”? But it was illustrated from an artist from Korea and not a native Texan, so of course there could’ve been some aspects where it didn’t quite fit an American setting! Pretty neat since I don’t rlly read much BL that has a western concept!
Oh yeah I googled the novel and the novel cover has the stereotypic, almost shirtless, white cowboy doing the staring into the distance— reminiscent of those cheesy 2000s romance books you see around thrift stores. LOL
Love this bl!! The art was so cute and the plot was not bad! Your classic gangster bl plot haha. Anyways I would love sidestories of them! I wanna see them living together and marriage

This was my first GL I’ve read on webtoons, can’t believe it’s finished now! And whoah, was that like 20 kids??
