I've noticed that the author really have a fixation of using fucked up plot devices while downplaying its extremities, and to use love as an excuse for to the story to appear ""adorable and romantic"" even though these devices are not heavily implied, it is outright suggested and hinted. E.g. borderline pedophilia and borderline stalking. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story of the main couple.
