And like the only way to get the plot moving in this story is for the mc to suddenly recall his reporter instincts and that will lead him to the next plot point. Like what is that? I forgot he was a reporter at one point through all the romance and he only found echo about overhearing someone and was like “yeah, it’s cuz im a reporter that I eavesdrop and heard ab these new developments” like please PLEASE MAKE IT SOMETHING ELSE

A small detail that I still love is that Ras uses offensive fire magic and Jevon uses defensive healing magic. Not always, but usually it would the opposite way around and I think it just fits their dynamic and personalities so well. The emperor calmly supports Ras with his magic occasionally and his position as emperor, and Ras crumbles kingdoms and brings benefit for Chariot by using her fire magic and plans supported by her hubby
