It’s over you guys that was the last episode. The story ends with Hyesung finally letting go of his past, choosing to move forward with his own family, and promising to from then on always prioritize love and cherish his only child (He said byul won’t ever feel what he felt as a child: abandoned, pushed aside, and unloved). Hyesung was an ass but he had childhood trauma and lack of trust. In the last chapters, we see him as a more open and caring person who tries not to run away from his problems anymore (literally, he ran away several times). The story ended with a huge character development where an unloved character learned what love is and figured out how to love in return. Dojin also had some character development where he thought back on his bullshit, felt bad, and i think he even apologized for the rape stuff (can’t remember clearly but he apologized for something really messed up) when he realized that although he also came to understand what love was (he was a fuckboi/player) he needed to do wayyy more and improve himself too in order to be a better partner. He was still a bit off with the jealousy thing instead of communicating directly with Hyesung but with the last couple episodes we see he came to understand that communication is important as he finally respects hyesung’s decisions, talks to him more directly, does what he can to help Hyesung with his parents without overdoing or trying to do extra, and genuinely comforts him. Both MC’s ended being better versions of themselves, even the side characters had personality and relationship glow ups. It was a great story and ended really well. Byul doesn’t have a sibling because he’s a miracle baby as Hyesung is a recessive omega (Recessive omegas are infertile or have trouble conceiving). There’s nothing more to this story. The author did a good job.

I’m thankful for the side stories but I also wanna see Byul again. I want more Dojin Hyesung and Byul, but that doesn’t mean I hate the side stories...The main couple is my ultimate ship in this series it’d be cute to see them lovey dovey during a second (wanted and cherished) pregnancy and baby byul being a big brother.
Ria as a baby: Smart, thinks things through, thinks ahead, connects pieces of info, tries to be independent and make the best choice in a situation
Ria as a grown up: An idiot, asking dumb questions, in La-la land, dependent of her dad and friends, doesn’t really think much
