Because the relationship is pretty sudden and touka never liked him in the beginning due to how he acted. Its true she started to like him as he changed but while that change was happening he was never around to get to know her or for them to actually start to develop some connection. It doesnt help that jn the beginning Kaneki was shown was a boy who developed crushes easily but he still doesnt really know Touka that well. When they admitted feeling the act was sudden and then now theres the chance for a baby. Nothing in the relationship seems to settle that well and no one knows for sure if it will go well. There was little to no thought to it so Im sorry for the unpopular opinion but there you go.

Their relationship was never sudden. Yes, in the beginning Touka did not like Kaneki because he was human and a possible danger to them being discovered as ghouls. I have read all chapters of Tokyo Ghoul and own 13 volumes right now and I can literally go through each volume and and name a chapter and page number that details their relationship. They know each other very well, protected each other and so on. Even when Kaneki was Haise Sasaki, he cried unknowingly when he saw her becuase Haise (at that time) knew he had a connection with Touka and he missed her. They both aren't the same person that they were in the very beginning. Yes, it's a very unpopular opinion becuase those who have this opinion didn't really "read". I would respect your opinion if you gave me proof to what you are saying because 90% of what you are saying is not true.
wut, you can tell touka had deep feelings for him, not maybe romance, but feelings that could end in romance. After all things kaneki did after joining anteiku, you can tell he got deep inside her heart :)

There are so many details you have to pay attention to, and if you don't you miss out on a lot. Like Ken and Touka's relationship development. On a side note, I like how everything is being played out so far, and I can't wait for the exciting conclution! Really!! Ishida sensei has me on the edge of my seat with every chapter!!
