Somehow I just can't come to like the Princess. I don't know why maybe because she is eying a man that is already promised to another lady.

I agree with you. If she was a real friend she wouldn't keep hanging out with the hopes of him falling for her. Even if the king was making them hang out she would hang out with him as a friend and nothing more.
Nothing gets more on my nerves then someone who pretends to be your friend but has ill intend. She really thinks she is innocent even though she is eyeing an engaged man who clearly has no feelings for you. I can wait for her to be rejected lol
I also don’t like her. I know that it’s not, but I feel like her innocence is fake. She doesn’t feel realistic. I don’t like how she doesn’t think about the consequences of her actions, such as liking a man that is engaged. And seeing that your father, the king, does anything for you to be with him and you do nothing but feel guilty, knowing very well that your actions or rather, your non-actions can make other people suffer (for example the MC if she really liked him). I feel like the princess is like 12-13 years old and not older, even if in the webtoon she should be older
To be honest I feel like this webtoon is targeted to people aged between 11-15. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that, but the EQ seems lacking and often the dialogues and interactions between characters are really basic and not deep at all. I feel like I will drop this webtoon

Honestly I thought she was ok at first, kinda hope she could be friends with Ayne but then she started to SHAMELESSLY shows them feels to Ayne's no.1, that's a big no for me (︶︹︺) regardless of both Assad's and Ayne's feelings to each other, they're both publicly engaged, like everyone in the kingdom knows duh. If she really thought of herself as Ayne's friend (I kinda doubt that at this point) she shouldn't entertain whatever feelings she's catching or shamelessly shows how dissapointed she is when the duke pays attention to HIS FIANCEE and not her aiyayaaa sigh

I think she is because her personality and traits were a mirror of El’s and before when he was bubbly and happy so was she so I do think that she reflects his mental state.
