I'll try not to trash on Jeanette's naivety since it's technically understandable to trust your "dad" more than your siblings. But didn't she met him after she met Athanasia? I feel like they would have shared a bigger connection with each other than Jeanette and her dad (Who is not even her biological father).
Jeanette is not a bad person at heart but she is quite dumb and optimistic that I can't really take a liking to her. Even though she is totally oblivious to the fact that she's being use. And by Claude's cold behavior towards her, I wouldn't blame her for thinking that he used black magic. While that, Athanasia is an aldult (her previous life) so she is technically more mature and can predict things because she read the novel.
Also! Athanasia is legit cool and powerful. She's acting like an empress or a queen in her father's place!
I think Jeanette is off-putting because she was raised specifically to be obedient and willfully ignorant. You're right that its not quite her fault, but after a certain age people generally ask questions and rebel a bit and its irritating that she's failing that. I think its especially irritating to people to people who also experienced limited freedom in their house and watching an example of a human who is okay in that environment is like...not a great feeling.
He's sister is very precious. My friends told me they found her annoying but I think she's being a very good and kind sister! She cares about him enough to barge into Seungho's residence even when she knows he's a dangerous and influential man. Love her, I hope Seungho will treat Na-kyum better!
(⌒▽⌒)
People find her annoying because she gets mad at the consequences of her own actions knowing fully well that of course there will be consequences because she's just a kisaeng. She could've used her position wisely and entertained or get close to a nobleman who could actually help her bring back nakyum

I guess I can say that I'm not too fond of stepbrothers relationship. It's not wrong up to a certain angle... it just feels a bit awkward even though they're not related. Love is love and sometimes it's hard to change that fact. Even though I am fully aware that a part of me is saying that "this is not right, it's not okay. They're step brothers" but I can't just deny the fact that they truly love each other.
They always come back to one another no matter how many relationships they've been in. But I'm slowly accepting that just how it is, they tried their best to become normal brothers and it fails, that's okay. Once the attachment is too strong and inseparable, I know that the only way the both of them can be happy is to be together.
Rather than pretending to love someone that they don't, it will hurt both them and other people they dated. Even though I really hope that Haesoo and Taku would be together, I don't think it will be healthy.
When one person is desperately wanting the love when he knows he's incompatible. While the other is trying to love someone that they don't. In the end, the 3rd person will be the one in pain. Even if Haesoo and Joowon never meet again, deep down, Taku knows that somewhere in Haesoo, he's just someone who was use to block the hole in his heart, yet not big enough to fit in. I'm glad that Taku moved on and is happy with how things turned out.
I hope he'll soon find someone who he knows he will no longer have to try to fight for and loves him dearly. I might have to try and think of Haesoo and Joowon of two individuals. After all, it's sad too see them hating on themselves for denying each other when their feelings are the same.
I wrote too long ( ̄∇ ̄") sorry if my grammar was bad
