I love how twisted she is and especially that mind game with Edwin but I would've loved to see more of a reveal. People questioning her as the whipping boy or being shocked instead of just being dead already.
The fun of an evil plan unfolding is the reaction of the unexpected victims (can't believe I just wrote that).
Anyway I hope this is understandable lol

Chiaki followed a list
Chiaki created a topic of Jinx

Dan needs to leave, Jk is an abuse asshole and the story keeps on running the good old "Dan abuse" soundtrack. When will it end?

Now watch me get 1-3 (maybe more) dislikes on this like every other comment who is saying the truth, someone keeps disliking EVERY comment like that.
Just wanted to confirm.

Chiaki created a topic of Into The Thrill

Finally the official is out!
This story is so good!! I read the novel and it has some of the hottest decribtions of sex I've ever read, their dynamic is to die for! Not exactly wholesome but horny for sure. Haven't finished it yet tho
Can't wait for more chapters, Leefail doesn't disappoint.

Chiaki created a topic of Red Mansion

This is it ladies & gentleman! THIS is how you give a toxic Top a good backstory!
I love their dynamic so much, it's so twisted and I'm here for it!

Chiaki created a topic of I'm a Level D Student

Another case of "should've let this marinate longer".
Stupid curiosity!

Aside from that, I'm enjoying reading this, I love angel/devil word building and having an underdog FL in a caste system school, sign me up!

Chiaki created a topic of Backlight

This was genuinely so HOT like damn that mirror shot when he came, I'm speechless.
The art is so FINE, they look gorgeous AHHH why is this so good?

Chiaki created a topic of Red Mansion

Wow I didn't expect this kind of story.
There's psychotic behavior, mental instability, abuse and even drugs.
I do love the writing a lot tho! + the art is gorgeous & unique.
It's clear that the Mc needs therapy, he's obsessive and dissociative but I like how he's written to be into sex (or it's a trauma response idk), it makes the intimate scenes look more consensual instead of just rapey.
The bonding between them over their struggles is nice to see and I'm sure there's a lot more to come especially if the twins finally get involved.

Ngl at first I couldn't see them working as a couple but that last panel on chapter 22 was sweet! The abuse feels more dialed down and our Mc....well he's spiraling ._.
I have high hopes for this story and I can't help but rate it 5 stars.

Chiaki created a topic of I Became the Lousy Side Top

I just binge read all 63 chapters and the amount of heartache and anxiety I feel is unreal.
Their love is so wholesome and beautiful but overshadowed by the impending doom of never being able to see each other again. They need to be protected!!

Also I want to believe that if it's possible to transmigrate into a novel, it should be possible to transmigrate OUT of a novel into the real world as a fictional character too right? That's my wishful thinking anyways lol
They need to be one happy family either in the novel or in real life.

Chiaki created a topic of Jinx

Me who has skipped the last 3 chapters, anxiously looking at the comments, waiting for ONE positive to start reading again yet it doesn't happen ._.

Chiaki created a topic of Sonna ni Iu Nara Daiteyaru

I love them but I HATE that Hikaru always puts himself down and blames himself. I don't blame Shinobu for his way of living and he also doesn't dictate how Hikaru should live his own. Hikaru doesn't seem to love himself and it makes me sad.I hope he can learn through positive reaffirmation from Shinobu just how lovely he is and realize it finally.

On a side note from the translator, I do think Solo Leveling is amazing and it's definitely among the absolute best but I wouldn't say it's THE best, there's just too many series that are a masterpiece in their own regard. That's only my opinion tho

Currently on chapter 9, I really love this, the art, the story BUT having a crush for 6 YEARS without even forming a friendship and still being so god damn awkward around each other, not knowing anything but "He's handsome, a clean freak and spends a lot of money"....excuse me?
This is so frustrating and depressing honestly.
I'm gonna continue reading but I just had to rant for a second, even if you're unable to confess, at least form a somewhat okay friendship pls...never calling, never speaking while hanging out in a group all the time, giving short (uninterested) answers, MY GOD this hurts.

Not saying this is bad, I quite enjoy reading so far but the awkwardness around them kills me

Chiaki created a topic of Backlight

I love it when a BL story uses the Top's POV too!
The ML is twisted but I can't help but feel sad whenever people degrade themselves like saying he's a whore and sex doesn't mean anything. You'll only end up hurting yourself and others.
The writing is really good! The MC isn't a pushover thankfully and the author is giving the ML a reason to obsess over him which is a driving force for the story to continue. I'm sure we'll get even more past memories and I'm here for it!

Chiaki created a topic of Nocturnal Flight

I really do like stories such as these. Like from beginning to end, it tells a coherent story and the writing was pretty good for a oneshot.
Obviously it would've been so much sweeter to see an actual teacher who cared and helped blondie with his issues and gave him a future perspective and showed him to be happy in life BUT this is not the type of story told here.
It's about grooming a minor and passing it onwards, from being a victim to becoming a predator yourself.
I appreciate that all the descriptions make it clear that this is not a loving and mutual relationship but abuse instead, the smell going from pleasant to bad, the metaphorical bruises left by the "bigger" hands & that even the MC acknowledges he has no one else to rely on. Overall solid 4/5

Chiaki created a topic of A Trace of the Wonder

This is legit making me so emotional, it truly was a journey! It was a beautiful ending but I would've loved to see more active healing of Yiseon, like therapy and how his future will look like.
I hope there's gonna be extra, I haven't read the novel so I'm not sure if there's more story to follow but I'll remain hopeful.

I love exposition like that btw, with the "traces of the sun reaching far and wide", such a nice and meaningful detail!

So this chapter had better pacing again, I hope that they circle back to the original plot now seeing the guy who was responsible for killing Raon.
I mean character development is important but I kinda want the story to get back on track.

Also can we just talk about how ugly their training outfits look? Just why? Raon was wearing such a nice outfit at the start of the chapter, can't that be the default uniform or something xD Pls?

Chiaki created a topic of Semantic Error

My god the amount of heartache I felt while reading this, seeing Sangwoo's thoughts and their relationship develop, you'd think I have a "masochistic streak" myself haha
My only critique is that the ending was too short, I would've loved to see more now that they sorted it out and I felt like Sangwoo should've been more honest and actually voice his thoughts for once, it makes it seem like he isn't as willing to give his everything to their relationship although he's been a mess over the situation just as much as Jaeyoung. He should've told him that he thought about moving with him, how he was struggling, sad that he missed the drama opening and so on. I guess that all comes later so I'd love some side stories with Sangwoo being more open.

This Manhwa does something truly unique and beautiful, it's realistic and doesn't pull its punches when showing the struggles someone in a same sex relationship or just being in love for the first time, can face.
It's been years now and it was a memorable journey, it felt like a rollercoaster reading this from the unpleasant first meeting to their attraction to each other forming, Sangwoo's inner struggle, their intimacy and Jaeyoung's wild & unpredictable personality.

That's what I love about slow paced romance stories, you'll truly experience their relationship and form a connection to the characters. At least it's much easier for me in comparison to something fast paced or stories going straight to smut. (nothing wrong with that tho).

Anyways this makes me so sentimental and I will forever love this Manhwa!

Read to chapter 24 and Ill drop this now.
Honestly the premise could be good and I like the art but it feels so rushed.
I came after the first episode of the Anime but couldn't stand the art style and it was kinda trashy (in a bad way).
This story could be so much getter if they developed the characters better, this feels like they took only the highlights of the story + some in betweens and went with it.
For example, that professor could've had more scenes, more scheming but instead revealed herself after a lame attempt right after that moon drinking promise, it felt so pointless. Should've kept her and not made her the obvious spy.

Ray is a war orphan and was rescued by his master, would've been better to see him down and depressed at the start of school after all those battlefield horrors he saw and then his friends made an effort to get to know him and cheer him up, then it would make sense for his mentor to be like "you changed in just 3 months"....we literally never saw the change tho! He was always cheerful and we barely saw one fight with them and that was 3 months of friendship growth?

I mean you can make the pacing faster in the later half but at the start, you want to flesh out your characters better and set a foundation so people can understand their motives through previous established traits.
It's such a disappointment.
I've stumbled across many manga because of Anime that looked trashy at first, for example:

My instant death ability is so overpowered
That one has such a simple premise but is a joy to read and takes their time with the characters journey + some background chapters

The reincarnation of the strongest exorcist in another world
Yet again, interesting story and good execution, it focuses on a few main characters and does something with them, can feel a bit rushed at times but I still love it

Both Anime of these manga are pretty decent too, the Anime for this one feels horrendous tho, it's a shame. There's probably a light novel for this and that may be the only good one to enjoy this story.

Chiaki created a topic of Jinx

I had a thought, maybe Mingwa has mistaken smut with actual character development or romantic growth....if this is supposed to be a "classic romance story", how many chapters will this be? There's already 46 with absolutely no romantic development, just violence.
I've seen soft BL's with no sex scenes whatsoever that have better character chemistry.
Hell I've seen better written toxic tops!
For how many chapters are just pure sex, there's absolutely 0 chapters of actual love (excluding Dan but even that was literally thrown in the trash, no pun intended).

Chiaki created a topic of Little Mushroom

It's likely that the captain was in love with his friend but never got to tell him how he feels so now he has the doll and all his shared memories to hold dear, that's incredibly sad.

Also will they be explored more in volume 2? No spoilers, I just wanna know if we'll see more of them!
This volume has been much shorter than expected, isn't the second the last one already?
