I really tried, it's my fourth attempt to read this for God sake!
My first attempt was 2 years ago and here I am, on chapter 27 and I can't....I need a break.
Mad respect for anyone that binge read this, this Manhwa PHYSICALLY hurts me in so many ways.
I wanna push through because Dark Fantasy, trauma and Guideverse is an amazing combo but the sex scenes with multiple people take me out.
I've read a lot of toxic and painful things but this one takes the cake in being the MOST uncomfortable experience of all.
I might be back after a break, I've seen edits that get me hyped for the action scenes but my GOD make it stop.
Edit: In case anyone wanna heal their soul after this and likes the themes of this:
- Traces of the Sun
- Death Delayed for a Short Time Because of the Will
- A guide out to succeed
All have their fair share of trauma but monogamy so the interactions between the characters feel nice to read.
Story aside, I really liked the aspect of the reversible couple, we rarely see that which is a shame.
The last page with the afterwords was really interesting, the reason for a female reader to relate to a Bottom more and why this author wanted to have this kind of couple.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for such a couple?
I love how their bickering continues no matter what
But ngl I would love to see some serious moments of affection like when Jaehyuk hugged Garam when he started crying or just holding hands and cuddling.
I look forward to see how their relationship develops, so glad this is back!!
Alright I love plots like these! Reminds me of "I became the lousy side Top" (amazing Manhwa!!).
But I was so afraid to have such an awkward situation in the first chapter with him being Isekai'd but I was so thankful when he told ML the truth in the second chapter!
So to anyone worrying the same, he comes clean about being from another world!
Although my doubt rose again when I heard the ML is a psychiatrist (pls believe Mc!).
Nah I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for them to all fuck each other
4P please, we begging!
Brown haired Chansol looking might fine tho!
I already love this! Puppy Seme and somewhat dominant Uke, I love this dynamic~
And any story including a dog, get a thumbs up from me!
Okay I just started season 2, I'm so surprised at the comments because I LOVE this so much.
The plot feels refreshing and also how the story proceeds, it's quite lovely to see development for the side characters and their stories are interesting.
This Webtoon as a whole feels so unique and beautifully drawn! The ML is cold af but seeing his affection towards Mc while caressing his wings makes me look forward to see how their relationship evolves.
I like that it includes darker themes and spice, I was genuinely shocked when they first started going at it, I was not expecting to get full on smut considering most Fantasy BL tend to be on the tame side.
I'm curious about the original novel now.
Anyways my impatient ass had to look at the raws, season 2 ended with 60 chapters in July and I just looked at the end of chapter 60 to see where it would pick up from and OMG we are in for a world of HURT.
Those were panels I didn't wanna see and it broke my heart...kinda hard to continue now ngl.
Alright this story is obviously toxic but can we take a minute to appreciate the absolute MASTERPIECES of Artwork in each chapter? (Like at the start/end)
I would immediately buy an artbook of this artist!
I can't get over how mesmerizing they look.
Doyoon Kim should’ve died in the car crash, but fate had other plans. He wakes up in the hospi...

As someone who enjoys psychological stories, here's my opinion.
This covered a lot of good aspects and failed miserably at the rest.
For one I liked having his inner thoughts and the artist did a good job at visualizing his despair.
Also the details about noticing his brother and freezing up which is a common reaction in victims of abuse.
Same with becoming less resistant and loosing strength at the mere touch of the abuser.
You become paralyzed and fear for your life.
I liked that the conclusion didn't involve the younger brother falling for his abuser and actually ended rather sad (loosing the only person he wanted to open up to).
In that aspect it was realistic and a good depiction of the decaying mental state of a victim of abuse (especially the sexual kind).
Now onto the bad aspects, unfortunately this turned into another work that romanticizes sexual abuse.
There was no need for the graphic sex scenes.
They felt like smut meant to be enjoyed by the reader.
I get wanting to show the reality and scope of the abuse happening but why did it have to include a close up of the brothers dick penetrating him?
There are far too many of those and leave a bad aftertaste.
You can realistically show abuse, for example "A cruel god reigns", severe case of child SA but it never showed it directly, just glimpses into the horror of what the protagonist had to endure.
Accompanied by his inner thoughts.
It's unfortunate because this story had good writing on the inner monologues.
"A wild Omega in heat appeared!"
And Taeha liked that.
Each and very chapter gives me goosebumps of embarrassment yet here I am jumping at each update xD I'm a clown y'all
Just another face in the crowd.
Just here to read stuff in my abundant free-time and leave reviews.
I know people get their panties in a twist about hearing critiques of a story they like, but I honestly do not care, this is what a comments section is for among just leaving cute little gushing-comments. :P
Very much addicted reader of stories with at least upper mid to highest quality artwork and decent and GOOD, detailed and well thought through writing (hard to find as they are).
I read right about anything regarding genres. But tend to avoid chinese works as they have too many issues that annoy me (like the literal random chibi haha moments when the story has ZERO need for it).
I read stories even if I do NOT like them. To some extend anyway, so I can leave at least a review for the basics.
As a reminder: Even if we disagree or actually get into a verbal fight, I'll not hate you or go apeshit like some people on this website and others (unless you defend hardcore rape or necrophilia and pretend it's good, something is wrong with you, so I will definitely not like you on any level).
Having a heated arguement or simply having different opinions on something is perfectly fine, no hard feelings and it won't really matter to me past that arguement. I can get into an arguement on one story and on the next we both read we can happily chat or calmly discuss. I honestly do not care enough to 'keep a grudge' or whatever. I am capable of leaving emotions in a disagreement and move on. I'm not like my mom who keeps things in her mental pocket for 30 years and throw at you when you speak to me again. =_=
Anyways, have a nice day and have fun reading!
Okay I'm genuinely SHOCKED.
I read the raws up to chapter 61 and started the novel (as one does) and they CUT so much!!
Edit: I'm on Vol 3 and they literally skipped about 3 chapters between 60&61...
Edit 2: Why is this getting so dark, this needs a tragedy tag, the cover looks like a cute office romance but here we are at murders...
Maybe Spoiler but we won't see this so Idk? :
From Rawon meeting his parents, Zeo preparing a sunflower and cake for Rawon's birthday, them meeting Zeo's sister and her trying to warn him but getting interrupted by Zeo.
Even some small additional spicy scenes were missing.
And now we have a whole conversation between Zeo and Rawon after a certain death (not gonna spoil it) where I felt like it was weird how quickly it got glanced over in the Manhwa.
I get that some things have to be cut but my god it was a whole chapter almost!
Usually the Manhwa follows pretty closely but for this, I feel like reading the novel is almost essential to get the full experience.
Currently continuing to read but I had to mention this...Read the novel if you like this
I'm at chapter 16 and my god this took a complete 180 from what I was expecting
I thought this was a cutesy office romance (those attract me like a magnet), both the cover and office setting seemed interesting and now here we are at the drug charges and offers to sell his body for a favor...jesus Christ.
Ngl this turned out way more interesting and serious than I was expecting but I ain't complaining just thought it was hilarious.
Someone had the Opening of Air Gear play in a video recently and I had to listen to it again and rewatched the entire Anime yet again....now I'm here, drowning in nostalgia and still haven't finished the manga.

Honestly I love this so damn much, I cried a lot.
Feeling worthless and wanting to indulge yourself in risky behavior is such a miserable feeling so I'm truly glad this had a happy ending for Haruhi.
I'm genuinely glad that he could heal and I loved seeing him improve and smile more throughout the chapters.
This may be a short work but it's really inspirational and a beautiful journey.
We need more of these stories that focus on healing and finding happiness within yourself and in turn in others as well.
