In Japanese mythology, 饕餮 (Toutetsu) refers to a creature from Chinese mythology known as the Taotie. The Taotie is a mythical beast that is often depicted in Chinese ritual bronzes from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, known for its extreme gluttony. This creature is also one of the “Four Evil Creatures of the World” in Chinese mythology.

In the context of Japanese culture, 饕餮 (Toutetsu) is not a primary deity or a central figure in traditional Japanese mythology as recorded in texts like the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki.

In short, Toutetsu is closer to a mythical beings rather than a yokai.

Well there's many interpretations regarding how Taotie real appearance looks like, but most sources that I read just depicted it as some kind of glutton goat-like creature, similar to Baphomet in appearance. Taotie most commonly depicted with goat body, human faces, tiger teeth and human hands. Mythological creatures can change depending on author's interpretations, there's even a race of Taotie that looks like extraterrestrial being in one movie so you're not totally wrong. This is what interesting when learning about local folklore, you never know what kind of creature you're gonna get .

I find it interesting how there are so many different interpretations although the extraterrestrial interpretation seems weird I've also seen a dinosaur-like interpretation when googling that doesn't fit the Chinese mythology settings but that's what makes it the more fascinating also how these creatures appearances differ is what makes each work unique

Hm, Grayson? I thought everyone was talking about Chase at the moment.

Emotionless Grayson will have to deal with non-commitment Dane.
The faceoff will be epic! Whoever falls first will suffer!
But both are alive in the side stories of KML, and since they take place several years in the future, they somehow both survived. XD
Interesting will be if Grayson will start to feeling emotions, and if extreme omegas have the ability make emotionless alphas feel emotions. who knows.

He's pretty violent and reactive, not just to Josh, but everyone. He does mellow out and there is never any SA between the couple. The dynamic between the two is interesting since chase is kind of a pathetic alpha while Josh is pretty in control and a very strong omega. Definitely the one with more power in the relationship. I really enjoyed the story overall. The first few interactions with chase will make you want to punch him, but he definitely gets better
