Lux and Adrian are the same person. Carlo is going to come back based on early chapters. Besides NOVEL SPOILER (though I only read 40 chapters) Adrian saw a white haired guy in his dreams, and he assumed this person is Carlo, which is why he chose to stay close to him. However, we know Adrian actually saw Mikhail but so far he did not realize it wasn't Carlo.
Anyway he is important and it gives us Adrian's backstory as well

Yeah fr, in the early chapters jaehyuk is actually the worst piece of shit.
There's character development later on and they eventually have a really cute relationship, but if you aren't a big fan of the "redeemed fuckboy" trope, I wouldn't recommend continuing this one.
Spoilers a little:
If I remember correctly, he actually has a decent remorse arc (yk where he actually feels like the piece of shit he's been acting like and grovels for a while). But unlike the usual bs where they're just in MC's face and insisting on how bad they feel, he learns to actually try to respect Garam's boundaries and not push him further away by being the pushy asshole that he's always been.
I really liked that part and thought the character growth was actually pretty convincing. + It's why I love their relationship now in current chapters :>
