Basically Carcel begins to get a flood of memories from the past timelines. He also learns about how people get memories and why Ines has memories. Emiliano tells him what happened after his death in the afterlife. This part mainly covers the religious aspect of the story including punishments, memories and wishes granted by God. Carcel also finds out Ines killed the baby he saw her with and his heart broke for her.
