There is this great thing about things you dont like, you dont have to read them. And you know whats even better? People have free will to like this even if YOU dont like it. It may be shocking I know.

I was referring to your surprise of why this have so many good ratings which made you start reading. Thats regarding your obvious bullshit of "i have the right to say this just like you said". Oh, and to be clear, I never said you cant express your opinion, but if youre gonna start reading something that obviously had romance between boys raised in the same house (theyre not brothers, Lele is not even adopted and never called Song's parents as mom and dad) from the first chapter and then run to the comments to cry about it even though it was obvious from the very beginning then its a YOU problem. Think whatever you want, i dont really care about what you think about this kind of stories, so if you wanna sweat to answer this then go ahead, not gonna read something I have no interest on, you may take the example and do the same.

the fact that you had to come back to write more lol its really not that serious. I just stated that I don't enjoy the premise of this story and don't know why it is so normalised. If you're so offended maybe its because it truly is weird. You're glossing over the fact that even if they aren't literal brothers, the ML who is 3 years older (which is a normal age gap yes but NOT in this context) is currently a highschool SENIOR while the mc is in MIDDLE SCHOOL. I've made my point so don't bother replying again and again.

The reason why it's rated so high is because their relationship and dynamics are so freaking adorable.
It has a novel too so their feelings and emotions don't really translate well.
And well they have a 3 yr age gap....I don't know if you continued to read but the plot in this story isn't just one dimensional - like let's put together two children and then they will date and fuck later. ( That's actually disgusting fr )

There isn't pedophilia, because they actually care for each other in a non sexual way ( if song yu was getting sexually attracted to zhi shi and wanted to dominate him sexually that would actually be pedophilic ).

And I get it the starting chapters put you off, not my place to say anything about your choice. I personally love this story because it's so beautifully written and I've also read the novel so I also have the full picture of what it's like and it's in no way predatory or groom - y ? ( That's a word ? (￣∇￣")

And you can skip this part if you like :- imma go into a little backstory...
They aren't actually adopted brothers. Le zhishi's parents died when he was 6 or something and song yu was like 9. Song yu's parents were his parents friends so they decided to look after him. As they grow up they become close and look after each other, but when song yu realises his feelings he stays away from le zhishi and only treats him like a brother ( there is no longing no grooming no nothing ) They only get in a relationship when le zhishi realises he's gay and actually likes song yu. They are both ashamed by their love and feelings. And when they both are in college le zhishi actually confesses first. ( It's one of the most beautifully written novels I've come across )


To the point where song yu actually wishes they weren't raised together and were instead strangers so he could atleast try and pursue his feelings. Le le actually is devastated when he learns song yu doesn't actually see him as a brother ( because he thought if I can't love him I can atleast have him as a brother ╥﹏╥ )

And lastly well, if there was no relation between them, and they were complete strangers too, it's just a 3 yr age gap. It's not really a problem if they met in college and started dating. And they are actually going to date only when both of them are old enough.

And you also mentioned the brothers to lovers plotline which I'm going to assume were some Korean manhuas ? Coz I've seen some really toxic ones with setting like this ╥﹏╥ and they're so freaking abusive.

This one is a fresh of breath air ( I actually thought this while I was typing , leaving it coz I think it's low key funny lol nvm my broken humor ) coz the plot is unique and actually realistic . And the chibis are cute as hell. Absolutely adorable. It's actually a well developed story which is one of the reasons why it's so loved.

But I found this one comment I made from the story when I had just started reading the novel....


Song yu never saw le zhishi as a brother. Instead he wished they met as strangers instead. ( So they could have a chance at love )

Le zhishi ( afraid that song yu is pushing him away because he dislikes him ) wishes he can stay with song yu forever, so much so he felt that if they were biological brothers ( instead of people who were brought up together even if all ties were broken at least blood ties would remain - ( because le zhishi isn't actually adopted and the story goes deep into that )

The novel goes into so much depth with their feelings. It's so fluffy and worth it.

I read your comments and I appreciate the fact that you went out of your way to explain the full premise of the story to me! I understand now it isn't as weird as I first saw it since you explained that they only really get romantic till later in college, thanks for explaining! Maybe, ill give it another chance since you have a high opinion of it. If only other people COUGH lynlyn cough were as kind as you then maybe I would not have been as harsh as I was towards this manhua. If you can hold out till ch 11 alot of the story dynamics get established so it will get easier to understand and read. The story is fluffy mostly. There's been nothing intimate and probably wouldn't be untill ch 80 or 100 ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
