What I remember is the mc and love interest are neighbors. The neighbor is really friendly and even bakes him cookies with his face on them but the mc is very cold towards him. He eventually warms up to him. There was also a misunderstanding where the mc thoug that the neighbor was dating this guy but turns out he was just a friend and has a girlfriend.
Some other details is mc made a hole between their apartments and he's a big fan of an author who happens to be the father of the neighbors friend.
