pls give me tips on how to balance my school and social life. I have no social life in our campus bc im either studying at the library or studying at home. I always prioritize studying due to my very demanding course and many workloads. I barely even have friends pls help....

    Laicka♡ February 9, 2025 3:55 pm

in my experience, find a group of ppl or even just one person who has the same priorities and interests as you have. better if you are classmates/have the same course. it'll also be good in the long run especially if you need a partner or group for school works. y'all definitely be friends eventually. that's what i did and after almost 12 years after we graduate, here we are as adults and still best of friends ^^ good luck!

If you're in uni I recommend joining group chats and asking for study partners. If you're in high school, now is the time to join an extra curricular! Trust me. You'll form bonds and it'll still look good for applying to uni.
You can also join clubs and stuff at uni, but I get there's less free time in uni than hs. ALSO, not sure if you mean your school library or your community library but check what activities your community library has and join something sometimes. Mine has zumba, knitting, yoga, reading to kids, etc.

If you are in college or school just participate in extra curricular activities or volunteer works that place is filled with easy to friend with extroverts and it's good to widen to your contact circle. It's really not that hard you just have to take the initiative and they'll handle the rest. That's how it was for me.

Is it better to buy japanese manga or the translated one? I want to buy a manga. Japanese ver is cheaper but i don't know how to read while the translated ones are expensive.

    Tch May 11, 2021 12:22 pm

Ah... You have to buy the eng one if you wanna read it...

    Kris May 11, 2021 12:30 pm

If you want the aesthetic; get the japanese one.
If you actually wanna read it; get the translated one.
    Common sense people, common sense.

Please don't use hobbies for an aesthetic or to look cool lol. It's not, we all just wanna actually read and enjoy the manga

Same here lol. I want to buy them though i don't know if I can find some at my local library or if I have to buy online. How much difference is there in prices between the translated ver and japanese?

In Japan, translated manga ranges to 400-500 yen while most popular manga reaches to 700-1200 yen. While the japanese ver only reaches to 100-500 yen.

Maybe you can try finding some at your local library. Some of them follow the manga trend normally if its in a more populated area. I have one too but I doubt even 10 people a month go there. So sadly I don't think they would have any manga

there are some cheaper sites to buy manga, but the price is basically the same, because shipping fees are super expensive from japan to another country, try looking on otakumangalounge, they're all translated and i find their prices pretty good :)
