They're both adult mentally, but all their reactions except for some cases seem like that of a literal child. They keep making dumb mistakes or saying things that they already knew they should avoid doing. Like, I like the concept of them being transmigrated together, but where's all that modern smartness?

To be fair though, they've been abused and neglected and basically powerless (in a child's body) for so many years... wouldn't you have some outbursts after that? They can't always do what they know they should do and suppress their emotions... I personally feel like the balance between their rationality and irrationality is pretty realistic (or as realistic as it can get in a fantasy manhwa lol)

Yeah I agree but I was referring to the fact that the readers expected the characters to be the super intelligent type (?)... Even if they had transmigrated to adult bodies it wouldn't make sense for them to have this intelligence advantage considering the fact that they're in a world completely different... But you're totally right!!! I kinda forgot the abuse part ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

.
I looked up on spoilers, and it seems the manhwa is different from the novel. Apparently in the novel, Mia didn't become a jealous bitch over the emperor and pretty much maintain a good relationship with Leanna. However, in the manhwa, she did try to go after the emperor and became a total bitch. I think she still ends up with the green hair guy in both, though, and Leanna ended up with the emperor.

It's difficult to keep up with what's going on in the story because it's all over the place. I really don't like the MC, since she keeps making one dumb mistake after another. You would think as someone who read the story before, she would be able to somewhat grasp what is going on, but she stupidly let herself fall into one trap after the other. I'm done.
Skimmed all the way to chap 47 and the only thing good is chap 47 itself.
And yea, I don't feel sorry for anyone who thinks their trauma is excuse to cause trauma to someone else. Or the friend that try to guilt the mc into helping out his rapist. That's always fun, right?
