The end of this chapter said so much. Clark, always so emotionless and reserved, was afraid for quite possibly the first time in this entire series. I was super curious to see when he thought Alex finally took things too far, and it seems he’s finally realised the extent to what Alex is capable of and how careless he’s been as to turn a blind eye. I’m so excited to see how this ends!
I get that he’s under a lot of stress to find his real hyung, but if everyone there shares the same memories then they all think they’re real. They’re all living and breathing and thinking and feeling and it just feels like Doyoung doesn’t seem to get that. Even if they are ‘fakes’, they’re all his hyung, and they’re all absolutely terrified. He’s not making it any better trying to suppress them and stand a head higher than them all. I get that it’s hard for him too, but he needs to let them do what they want and feel they need to do to help themselves. Because, unlike him, they have no freedom to choose whether they live or die.
I’m not saying I don’t like his character, I think he’s trying his absolute best, but everyone is suffering through trauma at the moment and it’s just not helping :’)
This seems so happy but somehow it really hurts. I can’t imagine how Itonaga feels, falling in love with a classmate only for them to be the sole cause of his bullying. And yet, years later when he comes back into the picture, he forgives him without even an explanation as to why he bullied him. He’s so sweet and pure-hearted and yet I just feel like Sanada just isn’t serious, and has mixed this order all up. If I was in Itonaga’s shoes, I wouldn’t even let that monster near me. I feel like, if Sanada really does like him, he deserves an explanation why before all else.
I really adored the early Ianna in this series. I found her really mesmerising and headstrong and loved how she held her own even when everyone stood against it. But I feel like she’s changed a huge amount recently along with Arhad, and it’s a little off-putting. She seems less humble, more vain and childish and Arhad’s also being unexpectedly soft. I really loved the vibe they gave off at the start as fateful lovers-turned-rivals, but now their interactions just leave me feeling disappointed and slightly uncomfortable.
Same here in the beginning i thought that it would be a story of revenge or of Ianna proving herself against Arhad but now its like every other reincarnation manhwa where the mc is in love or is together with the past lover/enemy and i was so on Ianna's side to get revenge but now shes doing things that, sure are nice and all, but pretty pointless and dont make any sense
if u've been paying attention you'll notice that they both have a recollection of the past and right now they seem to be working hard in their own way to try and change that past where they had to kill each other. both their motivations right now is to someday be together without one dying from the other's hands like what happened in the past. i dont get how yall thought otherwise cause it is literally explicitly said by ianna at the start.
I know that, but that isn’t what I said. I just said their personalities have changed to an extent that I’m not so fond of them anymore. I loved Ianna’s hardworking and determined personality, and how she spoke only when necessary and involved herself only where she needed to be. But when Arhad is thrown into the mix she’s just being obsessive and kinda childish and throwing herself into all kinds of situations for the sake of just seeing what he’s up to. I thought that although she wanted a time when they could both stand together without conflict, she’d also value her interactions with friends. But as soon as she met him three years earlier, she’s only been focused on him really. It’s changed her character for me and I’m just not really digging it.
I really loved this manga, but it’s progressing so slowly. The flashbacks are pretty pointless and didn’t explain anything new to me, so I hope they move on quickly. We all know Caitel and Asisi’s views on the princess and their thoughts and feelings during the process. Although they seem complicated, they’re actually pretty transparent characters and I feel like I understand them enough without all these filler pages. I really, really hope Ria grows up soon and starts acting her age. It’s kinda putting me off...
There are so many manga series like these where the innocent fiancée of the prince is framed and her engagement is annulled over false accusations about her from a scheming woman. It’s so refreshing to see everyone in the castle actually stand up for the accused fiancée, rather than write her off as evil and unworthy. This makes me super happy.
