I reread the story and I think I remember it was during the part where they got offers from companies and could choose whether to stay on the show or take the offer and leave. Moondae was talking about the options and said that if he took the offer to leave, it wasn’t guaranteed that he’d debut and it’d take much longer since the company hadn’t made plans to make a new group and usually doesn’t let their artists go solo. In comparison, if he stayed on the show, the show guarantees at least a 5 year group contract
