I'm on chapter 49 after not reading this for like 3 years (not because I didn't like it, I fucking think about liveta like once a month.)
And I noticed a change what happened to Victor's character design, who is this guy? What happened to crunchy victor. I had to go back to ch. 1 to double and and yea he's completely changed.
I don't mind soft Victor in personality but he had so much flavor in his old design. Like it fit the plot so well.
YYYEEES AND MIND YOU I read every new chapter and I really felt this change like a slap in the face even Yoan changed a lot my man got really bigger his muscles are much more defined.(he was buff but in a young way if it makes sense?) And the same goes for Van and Ian, but the changes are not as drastic lol
So the author explained in a Q&A, or author’s notes I forgot, that the soft and twink Victor design is the design she was aiming for since the beginning. Rough victor isn’t what she wanted and was a result of trial and error. She also explained that if she could, she would draw it all again from the start with the same soft victor design
What like what. I was literally so happy for them it was so surprising, he paid off his debt, the accept their feelings for each other. Peaches and cream I thought it was weird there was more chapters and the story was still on going.
Then this fuxking happens??? Like it's so cliche but I never saw it coming. Wow
FUCK YOU AKIMI YOSHIDA, I came in knowwwiiing, knowing it wasn't going to be a happy ending. I knew and I saw the foreshadowing I smirked to myself "yea this isn't going to hit me that hard" and I'm fucking bawling. My son, my angel.
It's not just sad because character dead but the fact ash was so close to his happy ending The last episode you could see him thawing like a snow man. we could have been okay, it was almost okay...
I put off reading this for so many years because I thought it was going to fuck me up. The title just sounded so gut wrenching.
But it's truly just a really good story, I'm so here for the ride. Also get my boy yoshiki some therapy that boy is going through it like every chapter and I don't blame him.
This is actually so fuxking good, like the dramaaa. It's like their both trying to win and it's so good. The character dynamics and writing, especially the way they speak is so realistic I love it.
It's so messy giiirrrlll
